When you sign up for the trial or shared plan, we assign you a phone number from our shared pool. This number is iMessage-enabled and ready to go.
Send the first message to your contact through the Blooio dashboard, API, or any of our integrations. The message goes out from your shared number via iMessage.
When the contact replies to that number, Blooio's routing engine knows exactly which organization started the conversation and delivers the reply only to you.
Every conversation is cryptographically tied to your organization. Other businesses on the same number never see your messages, and you never see theirs.

Every message is routed exclusively to the organization that initiated the conversation. There is zero crossover between accounts — ever.
Other businesses on the same number cannot see your conversations, contacts, or any data associated with your account. Period.
The isolation works both ways. You'll never encounter messages, contacts, or data from any other organization sharing the same number.
Conversations are tied to your organization at the routing level. Even if two businesses message the same contact, each conversation is entirely separate.
The shared plan is powerful, but there are two limitations to be aware of.
Since multiple businesses share the same number, inbound-first messages aren't supported. Your contacts can't text you first — you need to initiate the conversation through the dashboard, API, or an integration. Once you've sent the first message, your contact can reply freely.
Because the number is shared across multiple businesses, phone calls can't be routed to a single organization. Voice calls are not available on shared or trial plans. If you need calling, upgrade to a dedicated number.

No. Since multiple businesses share the same number, we can't know which organization an inbound message is intended for unless a conversation already exists. You need to send the first message — after that, your contact can reply normally.
Absolutely not. Every conversation is isolated at the organization level. Other businesses on the same number have zero visibility into your messages, contacts, or data. This is enforced at the infrastructure level, not just the UI.
Each conversation is separate. If two organizations on the same number both reach out to the same contact, each has their own isolated conversation thread. Replies from the contact are routed to the correct organization based on who initiated.
For many use cases, yes. The shared plan is great for testing, low-volume outreach, and getting started. For higher volumes, brand consistency, and inbound messaging, we recommend upgrading to a dedicated number.

Yes. Shared and trial plans have a daily new-contact limit. This resets on a rolling 24-hour window. There's no limit on messages within existing conversations.
