## Overview

Blooio is a self-serve platform for sending and receiving iMessage, RCS, and SMS through a dashboard, REST API, or supported integrations.

The setup flow is designed to let a business create an account, choose a number, and send its first message in under five minutes. No onboarding call, approval queue, Mac, iPhone, SIM card, or customer-managed Apple hardware is required.

Pre-warmed iMessage numbers are released on an approximately 48-hour restock cadence and can be claimed when available.

## Getting Started

1. Create a Blooio account.
2. Choose an available iMessage-ready number.
3. Connect a CRM, automation platform, or backend application.
4. Send your first message.
5. Monitor delivery, read receipts, and responses in the Blooio dashboard.

Blooio supports workflows through its dashboard, REST API, webhooks, and native integrations.

## Messaging Channels

Blooio provides a common API and webhook surface across messaging protocols.

| Channel | Delivery behavior |
|---|---|
| iMessage | Primary channel for compatible Apple recipients |
| RCS | Automatic fallback for supported Android recipients |
| SMS | Available through an optional connected Twilio account |

Recipients receive the best experience supported by their device and available delivery channel.

## Shared and Dedicated Numbers

### Shared Plans

Shared plans use a managed pool of numbers.

### Dedicated Plans

Dedicated plans provide a number used exclusively by one business. They are appropriate for teams that need a consistent sender identity or greater capacity across multiple lines.

## Responsible Messaging

Blooio is a P2P business messaging platform for conversations where recipients have given prior consent and expect to hear from the sender. It is not an A2P mass-outreach service.

Appropriate use cases include:

- Customer support
- Appointment confirmations
- Follow-up with booked leads
- Opted-in sales conversations

Unsolicited mass outreach violates Blooio's Acceptable Use Policy and can lead to Apple-level number restrictions.

### Safety and Pacing

Messaging safety is engagement-based. More than 10 new conversations per day on a trailing three-day average, combined with a written reply rate below 40%, can trigger number-level pacing.

Plan allowances, organization outbound limits, conversation allowances, recipient opt-outs, and Apple policies continue to apply. Dedicated-plan “unlimited” messaging means there is no per-message or per-segment billing cap; it does not remove safety controls.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### How quickly can I start sending?

The self-serve flow is designed to let you create an account, choose an available number, and send your first message in under five minutes. Availability depends on current number inventory.

### Do I need a Mac?

No. Blooio manages the messaging infrastructure. Use the dashboard, API, or integrations without customer-managed Apple hardware.

### What happens if a number is banned?

Apple systems, not Blooio, issue number restrictions. A restricted number may need to be replaced. Enterprise plans include auto-unbanning.

### Can Blooio be white-labeled?

Yes. Contact Blooio to discuss white-label options and custom branding.

### What is the difference between shared and dedicated service?

Shared plans use a managed number pool. Dedicated plans provide a number used exclusively by your business, supporting a consistent sender identity and higher-volume use across lines.

### Is Blooio A2P or P2P messaging?

Blooio supports P2P business messaging with prior recipient consent. Recipients must expect to hear from the sender. Unsolicited mass outreach is prohibited.

### Is A2P 10DLC registration required?

No for iMessage. iMessage is operated by Apple and is not subject to US carrier A2P 10DLC registration. A2P requirements may apply to SMS traffic routed through US mobile carriers, including optional SMS fallback through Twilio.
